About
Eos Space Technology is developing the next generation of electric propulsion for small satellites. Based at Harwell Campus in Oxfordshire, we build propulsion that gives satellites a longer working life and more freedom to move in orbit, designed around the spacecraft and the mission rather than the other way round.
WHY EOS
Smaller platforms are taking on increasingly ambitious missions.
That changes what propulsion needs to deliver. It must offer meaningful capability without introducing unnecessary size, complexity or integration burden into the spacecraft around it.
Eos was founded around a simple idea: propulsion should be designed as an enabling part of the spacecraft, not a constraint the spacecraft has to work around.
That principle continues to shape how we approach every engineering decision.
Eos Space Technology is a UK developer of Hall-effect electric propulsion for small satellites, founded by engineers from the space-propulsion research community and based at Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire, alongside the wider UK and European space ecosystem.
Engineering with purpose
Based at Harwell Campus in the UK, we bring together deep technical expertise, product development and commercial thinking to build propulsion technology around the realities of modern spacecraft.
We are not interested in complexity for complexity’s sake.
Our work combines propulsion physics, system engineering and product development with a clear focus on how technology will ultimately be integrated, manufactured and used.
OUR APPROACH
Eos is built on deep technical expertise, academic research and hands-on propulsion development.
As the technology progresses, we believe credibility should come from what can be demonstrated: engineering data, testing, validation and real programme milestones.
We start with first principles and deep technical rigour to solve the propulsion challenges.
Our systems are designed to integrate seamlessly across platforms, reducing risk and time to orbit.
We build with scalability, repeatability and manufacturability at the core of every decision.
Every project is aligned to real mission needs, delivering measurable outcomes for our partners.
THE TEAM
Bringing together technical expertise, innovation and a passion for solving complex space challenges.
CEO and Co-Founder
Szymon is the CEO and co-founder of Eos Space. With 5 years in spacecraft propulsion research at the University of Southampton, he now leads the development of next-generation propulsion technologies.
CTO and Co-Founder
Tom is the CTO and co-founder of Eos Space, having also worked as a postgraduate researcher at the University of Southampton. Having previously worked on developing alternative-propellant Hall Thrusters, he is now ready to push the boundaries of Hall Thruster technology.
COO and Co-Founder
Moe is the COO and co-founder of Eos Space Technology, with previous experience as a postdoctoral researcher as well as working as a start-up salesperson. Moe is now helping Eos reach out to customers, tackling the real problems satellite operators currently face.
Our Ambition
Credibility in deep technology does not come from claims alone.
It comes from research, testing, validation and measurable progress. That is why Eos is building its technology programme around demonstrable engineering evidence and clear development milestones.
Eos Space Technology was founded to rethink how propulsion fits into the rapidly changing satellite industry.
Based at Harwell Campus in the UK, the company brings together technical research, product development and commercial thinking around one ambition:
To make advanced propulsion a more practical enabling technology for the next generation of spacecraft.
THE TECHNOLOGY
Lampos is our first product, a plasma propulsion system for modern small-satellite platforms. An erosion-free architecture and increased total impulse are designed to extend operating life, so operators keep more mobility over a mission. It is built for mass-manufacturability, at lower cost and shorter build times, and packaged at a size similar to a conventional Hall thruster, so it fits the spacecraft teams already design.
